When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the following information from your Google account:
- Your name (as displayed on your Google account)
- Your email address
- Your profile picture (if available)
We use this information solely to create and manage your account, identify you when you sign in, and display your profile information within the app. We do not access any other Google services, files, or data beyond your basic profile information.

4. Information Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate our business, including payment processors, shipping carriers, email service providers, and analytics providers
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- Protection of Rights: To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Essential storage supports security, sign-in, your privacy choices, and core site behavior. How optional analytics and marketing technologies behave depends on the region you appear to be browsing from:
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: nothing optional loads until you actively enable it. We ask before any optional technology runs, and declining leaves the site fully functional.
- United States and other regions: optional analytics and marketing technologies are enabled by default and disclosed in an on-site notice. You may withdraw either category at any time, and we stop using it immediately.
We determine your region from your browser's time zone setting. This is an approximation rather than a precise location, and where the signal is missing or unclear we apply the stricter, ask-first treatment.
The two optional categories are separate, and you can control them independently:
- Site analytics: When this category is active, Google Analytics is loaded through Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity is used with site content masked. These tools help us understand site performance and navigation. Ember analytics events exclude pet name, weight, contact, account, and checkout identity.
- Marketing measurement: When this separate category is active, the Meta Pixel measures campaign effectiveness, which may involve sharing limited information with Meta for cross-context behavioral advertising. Enabling Site analytics does not enable the Meta Pixel.
You can refuse, grant, change, or withdraw either optional choice at any time using the persistent Privacy choices control on the site. Withdrawing a choice prevents future Ember events for that category and updates any already-loaded provider to denied. A choice you make always overrides the regional default described above. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential storage may affect some website functionality.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Object to certain processing of your information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
You can exercise the advertising opt-out yourself at any time using the Privacy choices control on this site: turning off Marketing measurement stops the Meta Pixel and prevents further sharing for advertising purposes. We do not require an account, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
Our website is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
