Review policy

Effective October 6, 2026

Honest experiences, every rating

We welcome reviews from one star to five about your own experience with Ember. We use the same moderation rules for all ratings. Criticism, negative experiences or disagreement with Ember are not reasons for rejection. The customer review listing shows approved submissions, with filters for every rating. Homepage stories are a selected collection and are identified separately.

What you can share

Use a verified account, choose a public name, give a rating and write comments about your experience. A dog’s name and up to three still dog photos are optional. Only share photos you own or have permission to publish. Do not include contact information, addresses, payment details or other people’s private information. Describe each photo so people using screen readers can understand it. Disclose any free product, discount or other incentive connected to your review in your comments.

What moderators check

Before publishing, a moderator checks the words and photos for spam or promotion, unrelated content, harassment or hateful content, private personal information, copyright or permission concerns, and unsafe or inappropriate images. These are our rejection and removal reasons. We do not rewrite customer comments or change ratings. If a version is rejected, the reason appears in your review status and you can revise and resubmit.

Publication, edits and withdrawal

You preview and authorize publication before submitting. Your public name, rating, comments, submission date, optional dog’s name and approved photos become public only after approval. Your account email stays private. Approval is a policy check; it does not certify a purchase or endorse a claim. We do not apply a verified-buyer badge without purchase evidence.

You can manage one Ember review per account. Each edit creates a new version that requires approval; a previously approved version stays public while an edit is reviewed, unless you withdraw it or it is removed for a policy reason. Withdrawing removes the review and its photos from new public requests. Copies already downloaded or shared by others cannot be recalled. You can revise a withdrawn review and submit it again.

Photos and private records

We check still JPEG, PNG and WebP photos up to 5 MB and 20 megapixels, remove embedded metadata, and keep resized copies rather than the original upload. Unsubmitted uploads expire after 24 hours. Submitted versions, permissions and decision history are retained privately for moderation, security and handling disputes. Inactive photo copies become eligible for removal after 30 days; published photos and photos awaiting moderation are retained. Backups may remain until their normal rotation. See our privacy policy for your privacy choices and contact rights.

Reports and reconsideration

Signed-in customers can report a published review using a policy reason. Reports go to moderators and do not automatically hide content. To ask us to reconsider a decision, report a privacy concern, or request help with your review, contact support@emberchow.com. Include the public name you used, rather than posting private details in a review.
